Morgan is enjoying her holiday — sun, sea, the works. One night, she goes for a moonlit swim. When she returns, she discovers a man with a knife who warns her to say nothing about seeing him. Then he disappears.
The next day, she sees him again. The man turns out to be Nicolas Gregoras, a wealthy Greek tycoon. Morgan is suspicious; she doesn’t trust him fully, even though he claims innocence about whatever threat or danger is around.
Despite her misgivings, Morgan finds herself drawn to Nicolas. There’s attraction and intrigue. But as she gets involved, she becomes caught up in danger that Nicolas seems to be trying to protect her from—or perhaps involved in. The nature of the danger is unclear at first; secrets abound.
Morgan must decide how much she can trust Nicolas. At the same time, she has to stay vigilant because there are real threats. The romance builds alongside suspense.
